You know what gets me out of a warm cozy bed. People need my help. I've got a guy coming in today with wrist problems that every doctor at that U. has been unsuccessful in helping. I can't wait to see him because I know, I can help him.

Today might be a good day to review your goals.
I have a patient who's number one goal for the year to get his health back. When he talks about it, you can tell he is dead serious. He had a bad 2012.
He started in December making changes and for the past six weeks he hasn't gone out to eat at all and has not eaten any bread. He gave up juice and diet pop for water, gets adjusted 2 times a week, and walks two hours a day now.
Guess what? He is down 20 pounds. And it's January!
Winston Churchill said "Don't give up on that which is important to you."
What's important to you? Be honest. Brutally.
Are you chasing money only to sacrifice your health and relationships?
If you're chasing health just to stay alive or head off an early demise, never give up.
#1 Define what's really important?
#2 Have a purpose for attaining your goal.
#3 Have unwavering faith that you will attain it.
#4 Take action
Without a direction, a strong reason to get there and unwavering faith that you will get there. The battle is already lost before you can even take action.
You can have a great 2013 if you follow those four steps.
