I'm sitting on the train this morning enjoying a nice peaceful ride buzzing by traffic. I'm trying to think of a killer word that ends with Z.
For those of you playing words with friends. "Chez" Placed in the right spot is worth 111 points.
When I hop off the train I'm in the crowd because it's the last stop, so everyone gets off.
As a chiropractor, walking through a crowd is always an interesting endeavor.
The guy in front of me had one toe that pointed in 20°, the lady two people up from him had a Duckwalk.
The guy to her right had his head tilted right and tilted back which was unusual, because he was about 6'5" tall.
And so it goes in every crowd. And having a downtown office I have people to watch every day.
So take a look at your feet or your spouses or your kids while you're out for evening walk.
Your toes should point forward. That is just good biomechanics. If they don't...
-They might look like ducks
-Or they might look like they're pointed in.
-Or one might be pointed in, and one might be pointed out and you could walk in a circle If you aren't careful.
If that's the case then there are misalignments somewhere between your toes and your low back.
So how can 25 mph ruin your walking?
I had a guy come in from a car accident at only 25 mph. His hips hit the door panel and his knee hit the dash, all in a fraction of a second.
It internally rotated his hip and knee and he couldn't figure out why his low back hurt. Many car accident injuries are not obvious, because they happened so fast and most times nothing is broken.
So take a look at your walking or your spouse or your friends and if they aren't walking toes forward let me know next time in the office.
